When it comes to boozy pool parties and a stellar DJ set, no one does it like W Singapore in Sentosa Cove. This Halloween, revellers who are expecting another one of its breezy bashes are in for a rude awakening on 28 October, at Creepin’ It Real. Instead, imagine (fake) blood, screams, and all things creepy.
Break out your best costumes and dance moves as ATTAGIRL!, a riotous all-girl DJ collective, takes the stage. The sprawling greenery will be transformed into a spooky dance floor, so be sure to pick a costume that’s easy to groove in.
It’s not a Halloween party until the screaming begins. Horror junkies can crawl through the haunted bus at the Rock Garden. Your courage may be rewarded as there are prizes such as drink coupons, dining vouchers and even a one-night stay in the hotel’s Wonderful Room to be uncovered. But first, you’d have to get past the scares.
For the not-so-brave, there are tonnes of other creepy surprises in store. Try escaping a haunted house at the virtual reality gaming area, or test your Halloween trivia at the Trick or Treat booth. Have your fortune read by a tarot card reader, or get your face painted by makeup artists from Makeup Maestro. There’s also a 3D photo wall and 180-degree camera from Instantly for you to strike a (scary) pose after.
