Mark your calendars for one of Singapore’s most unique family days out this May. The Summer Evening with Marius Bear is a highlight event of the Swiss Weeks 2026 — Singapore’s Swiss cultural festival running 21 April to 6 June — taking place at the Swiss Club Singapore, one of the city’s oldest private clubs, celebrating its landmark 155th anniversary by opening its doors to the public.
The day runs from 12 pm to 9 pm, building in energy from a relaxed summer fair to a live concert evening. From midday, the Summer Fair fills the club with vendor booths, unique products, treats and activities for all ages.
From 4 pm, the Summer Evening Festival kicks off on the Chess Lawn with live music by 17FIFTY, interactive game booths, food and beverage stations, laser tag, a display of Harley bikes, and family fun including a bouncy castle, slip and slide, candy floss, popcorn and ice cream.
The highlight of the evening is a live solo performance by Swiss pop singer Marius Bear at 6:30 pm — flown in from Australia exclusively for this milestone occasion and making his very first appearance on Singapore soil. Marius represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with his hit “Boys Do Cry,” is a two-time Swiss Music Awards winner, and earned a gold record for his cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
Tickets are SGD 12 per person aged 6 and above, inclusive of a SGD 10 voucher redeemable at selected food, beverage and activity booths. Children aged 5 and below enter free. Food, drinks, games and activities are available on a pay-per-use basis throughout the day.
The Swiss Weeks 2026 is organised by the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore. Spanning six weeks and 20 events across the island, the festival celebrates Swiss innovation, culinary excellence, film, music, and community life. For the full festival programme, visit the Swiss Weeks website.
