This National Day weekend, two local party collectives Secret Pals and 5210PM come together to present Majulah Mess: a community-led celebration bringing together music, food, drinks, family-friendly activities, and a lively afternoon-to-night gathering at The Pantry, COMO Dempsey.
Taking place on Saturday, August 8, Majulah Mess offers a different way to celebrate the occasion: not the usual red-and-white affair, but a one-of-a-kind gathering shaped by kampong spirit, local sounds, and the wider community that makes Singapore feel like home.
The event brings together 5 local collectives across 2 stages, with DJ music from selectors across Singapore’s dance music scene. The Treehouse stage will feature the housey sounds of 5210PM, Secret Pals, and Sivilian Affairs, while the SuperVision stage will bring bass-forward energy from Revision Music and Super Enjoy. The organisers frame this as “a celebration of sounds from the collectives we love,” with 5 collectives, 2 stages, and music running through the evening.
