Future Perfect presents the Singapore debut of Arin Rungjang, the mercurial Thai installation artist, fresh from the success of his beguiling pavilion at this year’s Venice Biennale!
His mesmerizing Venice project, Golden Teardrop, is based on the true story of a traditional Thai egg-yolk dessert adapted from a recipe originating from Portuguese nuns in the 15th century. Arin’s poetic installations revisit pivotal moments in Thai history, revealing how details, accidents and innuendo can reshape the fate of nations.
