Get your hands on the latest designer fashion collections without burning a hole in your wallet, because Yeechoo is here to the rescue
At Honeycombers, we like supporting local Hong Kong fashion designers and online shopping platforms, such as Sarah Lai, Zlism and WOMB. But if you want to get your hands on designer labels, without the impact on your wallet, then Yeechoo is here to help. Besides the fact that you have access to thousands of designer outfits through Yeechoo’s online site, we also love the fact that it offers a more sustainable fashion solution that means you won’t be struggling to fit your latest purchases in your tiny Hong Kong wardrobe. We were at Yeechoo on Wellington Street to try out Asia’s largest fashion designer rental platform, so you can discover how to get your hands on up-to-date designer fashion at a fraction of the retail cost.
What does Yeechoo offer?
Create different looks by exploring different styles at Yeechoo. The platform offers evening gowns and dresses from designers such as Alexander McQueen, Alice + Olivia, Vera Wang, Jason Wu and US brand Milly, that have been worn by personalities such as Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama. You’ll even find accessories in addition to outfits for everyday, work, drinks night, dates, beach getaways, galas and weddings.

Yeechoo isn’t like other traditional boutiques with outdated designs – it works directly with designers to source in-season collections, and some of the dresses that you find may even be hanging in one of Hong Kong’s premium department stores, such as Lane Crawford or Harvey Nichols.
A truly effortless experience
We went in to find a new wardrobe with Yeechoo and absolutely loved how seamless the entire process was. You can simply pick the outfits of your choice from the website, or customers who want to try on their dream dress before renting it can do so at Yeechoo’s showroom in Hong Kong’s Central district.
Upon booking, the experienced staff will put aside the selected outfits for your trial on arrival – which means you don’t even have to go through the endless racks of clothes. In addition to that, they will guide you through the process to create a look you love – with designer bags and statement fashion jewellery to match. How cool is that? The best part – minimum hire starts from four days, which includes drop-off, pick-up and dry cleaning, with the lowest-priced cocktail dress rental starting from $80. Trust us, it’s as good as having a personal stylist, or perhaps even better.

The white playsuit by MLM Label. The cold-shoulder is still very hot this season, just with some epic new variations, and we loved how the Yeechoo staff suggested to complete this look with the Alto Trista wristlet bag by Dooney and Bourke, so very convenient.
If you’re looking for a top with the similar trend, MLM Label also has it in a gorgeous red which can easily be paired with denim jeans or shorts. The bold colour and the way the sleeves flow is absolutely stunning.

If you’re looking for something to impress your date, the Navy Printed cut-out jumpsuit by J.O.A is the definition of chic and can be easily made casual by adding a pair of summer sandals.

If you have always wanted to step out in a traffic-stopping evening gown, you can finally do so at Yeechoo. We are also fans of the Black Hi-lo Printed Dress from the renowned Sachin + Babi (aka “The new Oscar de la Renta”).
Here’s how Yeechoo works
If you’re trying this concept for the first time, check out the single rental package (this is great if you suddenly have a major formal event); if you really want to have fun, go for the Infinity package priced at HK$799 per month. You will get six designer items every month!
