Best vegetarian dim sum in Hong Kong
1. Veggie Kingdom
This casual eatery is homey, spacious, and located right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. The impressive dim sum spread includes many traditional Cantonese snacks – the char siu is a must-try! The thin wheat starch dumpling wrapper encloses colourful ingredients (making a great photo-op!). We recommend their veggie shrimp dumplings, golden vegetable dumplings, and wontons. Also, their crispy shredded abalone mushroom is very addictive!

2. Three Virtues Vegetarian Restaurant
Even though the dim sum is available until 3pm (due to the hungry crowd), and despite there being numerous tables, you may still have to end up waiting a wee bit to get seated. Why the crowd? Because of the unbeatable price, location, and taste! The Buddhist restaurant serves a long list of dim sum during lunch hours and you can’t go wrong with any of them. A little bonus off the main menu; the satays here are comfort food of comfort foods!

4. Vegelink Vegetarian Restaurant

You can either order from the a-la-carte menu or opt for the 12-course evening dim sum set, either way you’re in for some good food! The restaurant is well-known amongst the Buddhist community in Hong Kong, and offers a wide range of dim sum.
Do note that the dim sum menu is in Chinese, so you may need to try your luck with Google translate or bring a friend along who can translate. Side note, we think their dinner set is definitely a steal, featuring veggie sushi, crispy shrimp, and steamed tofu. There’s also a grocery section inside where you can take home frozen food and shelf-stable products.
