SKAI Bar & Grill is back, with its spectacular infinity pool and beachside vibes, plus a brand new Mediterranean-inspired menu...
It’s no secret that we love Bali’s hopping day club scene. But sometimes, we want to chill beside the seaside without the party vibes or the booming music. And if, like us, you’re more of a seaside lounger rather than a beach party goer, then you’ll want to head to SKAI Bar & Grill at Padma Resort Legian. Sitting right on the Legian beachfront, SKAI is a beachfront restaurant and sunset destination with delish food, expertly crafted cocktails and a glittering infinity pool overlooking Legian Beach. It’s also where live DJs spin chilled tunes onto the evening in a more relaxing and sophisticated way.
In fact, you might already recognise SKAI Bar & Grill, because this hot new sunset spot was once SKAI Beach Club. Even better and more beautiful than ever before, it has freshly reopened with a very impressive new identity. Welcome to the new chapter of SKAI.
The delicious flavours of SKAI

To help you settle into the evening ambiance, SKAI Bar & Grill has a delicious modern menu for you to tuck into. It’s a mix of Mediterranean and Levantine flavours, from cold to hot mezze and a wide selection of small plates to swap and share. Our favourites? The baba ganoush dip, the tuna tartare with capers and lemon, and the burrata topped with pistachio nuts. Swap and share these appetisers by the pool, then load up on pita bread pockets stuffed with slow-roasted pulled lamb. And if you’re lounging a little longer into the evening, tuck into more indulgent large plates: Spatchcock chicken, Wagyu beef short ribs with muhammara, and a warm sticky date pudding with a pecan gelato for dessert.
Raise a glass at SKAI Bar

One of the biggest draws at SKAI (other than the breathtaking views and delicious food!) is the bar. Slinging expertly crafted cocktails and non-alcoholic shrubs (vinegar-based fruit syrups), it’s the perfect place to settle in for sunset with a fresh aperitivo in hand. We love the light and refreshing Garden Mule, which is made with fresh makrut leaves from Padma Resort Legian’s garden. It’s perfect for a balmy afternoon. Or as the sun starts to dip, the Fennel Boulevardier will get you in the mood for a lively evening – it blends Parisian cocktail traditions with East Mediterranean flavours.
Day club vibes and infinite ocean views

Without doubt, SKAI Bar & Grill’s breezy location is second to none. Facing directly onto Legian Beach, this fabulous sunset spot is where it’s at for oceanfront gazing with a view. And to top it all off, there’s both indoor and outdoor areas to choose from. The indoor lounge is a welcoming space that takes inspiration from a charming beach house. Think soft and earthy tones, and natural materials accented with dark colours for a sleek, modern finish.
Then there’s the outdoor area with its striking beach deck and plenty of lolling spots to soak it all in. We love the plush daybeds that capture the essence of barefoot luxury and look like giant birdcages. Just be sure to arrive early to snatch your preferred sunset seat – the cosy daybeds are perfect if you’re having food and drinks as they’re centred by a round table, while the shaded sun loungers beside the glittering infinity pool are best for sunset drinks and twilight dips.
And the kicker? Just because SKAI Bar & Grill is housed within a resort venue, that doesn’t mean you can’t dive right in. SKAI is one beachfront destination that’s open to everyone, whether you’re popping by for an afternoon feast, sunset drinks, or getting your groove on with chilled live DJ sets… just don’t forget your bikini!
