Waiting to board your flight out of Bali? Head to Hard Rock Cafe I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali, where rocking comfort food and world-famous merch awaits!
Ahhh the life of an international jetsetter. Those frequent airport visits that beg the long-standing question of: what can I do at the airport while waiting for my flight? A visit to the food court or sitting at the gate isn’t exactly exciting, and access to airport lounges are often restricted. So what’s a jetsetter to do? Luckily for us in Bali, the ever-glamorous Hard Rock Cafe Bali Airport has now opened within the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, complete with all the rocking vibes you’d expect.
This iconic, world-renowned brand offers all the comfort you need when you’ve got time to kill before boarding your next flight. Think sleek, modern interiors with eye-catching murals, and a sumptuous and legendary menu featuring finger-licking ribs, juicy steak burgers and chunky sandwiches filled to the brim! And of course, it wouldn’t be a visit to Hard Rock Cafe without a collection of highly sought-after collectibles, so they’ve ticked that box too. Here’s why we’ll be stopping by before jetting off…

You’ll love it because… Hard Rock Cafe I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali is a hidden gem that’s SO much more than just a place to eat. Sure, you won’t want to miss out on the diner-style American comfort food, or the Rock Shop’s merchandise and music memorabilia. But what makes it extra special is its location. Hidden away between Gate 6 and Gate 7 of the international departure terminal, Hard Rock Cafe Bali Airport comes with panoramic views of the airstrip through the whopping 25-metre wide window. Not only that, it’s the only venue at the airport with access to an outdoor smoking area. And did we mention, it’s also an Instagram haven? With its sunset-facing rooftop bar and lounge, it overlooks Uluwatu’s famous GWK monument, and is decked out with vibrant murals, courtesy of Balinese artist, Monez.
You’ll want to try the… Messi Chicken Sandwich, made in partnership with the soccer legend and brand ambassador, Lionel Messi. Inspired by Messi’s favourite childhood dishes, this Milanese-style chicken sandwich is unlike any other. For starters, the chicken is crumbed Milanese-style and fried to crispy, juicy perfection. Slices of tomato and crunchy arugula are oh-so fresh, while a dollop of herbed aioli and melted provolone cheese tops off the taste of greatness. All of this deliciousness is then sandwiched between Hard Rock’s toasted artisan buns, and served with seasoned fries. Yum!
Come back for… Hard Rock Cafe Bali Aiport’s signature friendly service that makes you feel right at home. With warm smiles and Bali’s professional hospitality, the staff greet and welcome you into their stylish “living room”. They go above and beyond to make your last stop in Bali a memorable one. From finding you the cosiest seat, to recommending the best things on the menu to munch and sip on, they’ll make sure you’re ready to board your flight home, stress-free.
With everything Hard Rock Cafe Bali Airport has to offer (legendary food, awesome memorabilia, expert service and a beautiful space to kick back in) spending hours at the airport suddenly doesn’t sound too bad…
