This is the big one. YE, formerly known as Kanye West, is playing in Indonesia for the first time ever, and Jakarta is his only announced 2026 stop in Southeast Asia and Oceania. If you’ve ever wanted to see him live without flying to Europe or the US, this is your shot, and it’s a short flight from Bali.
And he’s not showing up with a standard stadium set. YE is bringing his Globe Stage, the 360-degree production that’s become the talk of his recent shows. There’s no front or back here. The stage is built so the whole of GBK gets its own angle on the performance, with lighting, pyrotechnics and visual art turning the stadium into one giant immersive experience.
Fans aren’t waiting around either. Within the first 24 hours of ticket sales, more than half of all purchases came from outside Indonesia, with fans in 73 countries snapping up tickets, from Singapore and Australia to Hong Kong, the US and the UK. Over 15,000 international visitors are expected to fly in for the night, and that number is climbing every day.
Jakarta hasn’t seen a concert quite like this before, so don’t be the one watching it on someone else’s Instagram Stories.
