Best New Stays in NUSA DUA
Paradisus by Meliá Bali
Newly reopened five-star beachfront resort in Nusa Dua with adults-only luxury and a seriously impressive waterpark.

Formerly Meliá Bali, this iconic all-inclusive Nusa Dua resort has undergone a major 18-month transformation… and it shows! Paradisus by Meliá Bali feels elevated and far more experience-led, while still keeping that expansive beachfront resort charm the area is known for.
The rooms feature warm wood finishes and locally inspired details, with spacious layouts (the Junior Suite Garden View is a great entry point) and private balconies overlooking lush grounds. But what really defines this stay is its all-inclusive offering. That little wristband unlocks access to seven restaurants, multiple bars and 24-hour room service, meaning your Bali escape can be as effortless as you want it to be.
For couples or adults travelling without kids, The Reserve section is the move. It’s a dedicated adults-only enclave with its own stunning pool, plus added privacy and elevated privileges, while still giving you access to the entire resort. Families, meanwhile, are completely covered. There’s Kidsdom for younger children, YOURWAY Atelier for older kids and teens, sports courts, and a full waterpark with seven slides, splash zones and a toddler area. It feels like two holidays in one.
Best for: Families who want a full-scale resort experience, or couples seeking an adults-only escape within a larger beachfront property.
Good to know: The all-inclusive package is well worth the splurge: think seven restaurants, three breakfast spots to choose from, and all the bubbles you can drink.
Price per night: Rates start from IDR 5,500,000++ for a room-only stay, or IDR 15,000,000++ for the full all-inclusive experience.

Hilton Garden Inn Bali Nusa Dua
A cosy, family-friendly hotel just steps from Tanjung Benoa Beach.

Nusa Dua has always been one of my go-to recommendations for anyone travelling with family, and with Hilton Garden Inn Bali now in the area, that choice feels even more solid. This new hotel brings a fresh, modern feel to the neighbourhood, with comfortable rooms, a great location just minutes from Tanjung Benoa Beach, and plenty of family-friendly perks.
I just have to mention their Kids’ Club – it’s spacious and built with a tropical jungle theme. They offer fun activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, and movie time to keep little ones happy. There’s also an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, and the all-day restaurant Together & Co. serving healthy, crowd-pleasing dishes. It’s an easy, fuss-free base for families wanting a relaxed Bali holiday without compromising comfort.
Best for: Families and travellers wanting a relaxed resort stay with easy beach access and kid-friendly perks
Good to know: Their Kids’ Club isn’t just for toddlers, it has different zones for older kids too, from painting corners to a gaming-console area.

Best New Stays in ULUWATU
Uluwatu Estate by Mandarin Oriental
The legendary Mandarin Oriental service, served up in your own private Uluwatu pavilion.

Just when you thought Uluwatu couldn’t get any more exclusive, Uluwatu Estate enters the chat. Part of Mandarin Oriental’s ‘Exceptional Homes’ collection, this place is a masterclass in pavilion-style living. Think soaring thatched ceilings and an infinity pool that looks like it’s spilling straight into the ocean.
But the real flex? The service. You get the full Mandarin Oriental treatment, with dedicated concierge, private chef, and chauffeur, but without having to share the lobby with anyone else. It’s basically a five-star resort all to yourself. If you’re traveling with a big crew and want zero compromises on privacy or polish, this is the one (family/company outings secured!).
Best for: Large families, celebratory trips and group stays with full-service luxury.
Good to know: Travelling with a smaller crew? You can book the estate as a four-bedroom for up to eight guests. It also doubles as an event venue and can host up to 70 people.

Mira Hotel & Recovery
Design-led boutique hotel in Bingin with stylish rooms, cold plunges, sauna sessions, and a recovery space for wellness lovers.

Mira Hotel & Recovery has nailed the perfect mix of laid-back beach life and high-end healing. It brings a modern, minimalist edge to Bali’s wellness hotel scene, with studio lofts and suites that open onto gardens or quiet courtyards. Think warm textures, clean lines and thoughtful calm.
This isn’t your typical hotel spa either. It’s a full-on wellness circuit with contrast therapy at its core. There’s a huge dry sauna, multiple cold plunge pools set at different temps (I did the rounds!), a warm Jacuzzi, and shaded spots to lounge post-sweat. The minimalist design and moody lighting made it feel almost meditative.
Best for: Wellness lovers and surfers who want a stylish, peaceful place with saunas and cold plunges near the beach.
Good to know: The recovery space can get popular in the afternoons, morning sessions are best for quiet.
Price per night: Starting from IDR 2,400,000++

Best New Stays in TABANAN
Alpha Wolf Lodge
Bali’s first wolf sanctuary and eco-luxury villas.

Here’s something you don’t see every day in Bali – an actual wolf lodge! Located inside Nuanu Creative City in Tabanan, Alpha Wolf Lodge is the Southern Hemisphere’s first wolf sanctuary with a cosy stay. If you’re looking for something different from the usual beach clubs and boutique villas, this one is worth checking out.
The highlight of this stay is of course the wolf sanctuary. Their “wolfies” have been raised with human interaction since they were pups, and guests can join supervised walks, yoga sessions, feeding time, and even picnics in the wild. And because it sits inside Nuanu Creative City, you also get easy access to the creative spaces and events happening within the area. If you’re planning a unique Bali getaway, Alpha Wolf Lodge absolutely fits the brief.
Best for: Couples and solo travellers who want a one-off Bali stay with nature and animal encounters.
Good to know: The lodge only has a handful of rooms, and wolf activities need to be booked in advance, so planning ahead is your best bet.
Price per night: Starting from IDR 1,300,000++
Address: Nuanu Creative City, Tabanan.
With new stays opening across the island every month, this is your sign to plan that Bali escape properly!
