Brace yourselves, foodies. One of Singapore’s hottest culinary happenings is back this October for its ninth edition, and everyone (in the kitchen, we mean) is focusing on chocolate. Chocoholics rejoice!
The deal remains: participating restaurants all over town are offering three-course menus (for both lunch and dinner), priced at either $25 or $35, for a week from 25 October through 2 November 2014. It’s the best time to restaurant-hop and enjoy fine dining without breaking the bank.
For this edition, it’s all about chocolate, so diners can get a taste of innovative creations – like chocolate beef cheek ravioli and 63 degree egg with smoked duck breast and chocolate and garlic soil – at notable restaurants.
UNA
On the restaurant list are comebacks like Garibaldi, Absinthe, Bacchanalia, Wooloomooloo Steakhouse, and more. New restaurants in the mix include Portico, UNA, D’Bell, Wolf, and The Bank Bar & Bistro. There may be over 100 participating establishments to choose from, but be real quick if you want to snag seats at the city’s hottest dining spots.
Got little budding gourmands of your own? For the first time ever, Restaurant Week is launching a Kids Restaurant Weekend on 18 and 19 October 2014 ($15 per child for lunch, and $20 per child for dinner), and Junior can chow down on specially crafted dishes at restaurants like Alkaff Mansion, Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro, and even art-centric outlet, Museo.
Booking opens 27 September 2014. For more information and to make your bookings, visit Restaurant Week’s official website.
