Roll out the red carpet: the famed wax museum is opening its doors on 25 October 2014 after almost a year in the making.
Originating from London some 200 years ago – although founder Madame Tussand has Parisian roots – the global attraction houses the world’s biggest names today and in history, with each outpost showcasing figures relevant to the city.
In Singapore’s Madame Tussands, visitors can look forward to taking selfies with local personalities including Sir Stamford Raffles, PM Lee Hsien Loong, singer Stefanie Sun and footballer Fandi Ahmad.

Plus, relive history’s most pivotal moments as you pass monumental figures of the past like Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Queen Elizabeth. The music industry’s most influential artistes like Beyoncé, Madonna, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are also there – perfect for pranking friends into thinking you’ve rubbed shoulders with them. Want to escape from reality? Walk into the world of Film and hang out with Spiderman and ET.
What’s also unique about the Singapore outpost is the Spirit of Singapore boat ride inside the museum. The interactive, audio-visual journey uses light, sound and even smell to present the most iconic scenes of the city, from the floral fragrances to the deafening roar of the F1 racetrack. The boat ride ends on a cultural note as you sail through performances of Chinese opera, the lion dance and a simulated firework finale.
Early bird tickets are on sale now at $20, valid till 31 December 2014.
