Spell and Iron is the inaugural edition edition of a new yearly Western fantasy event that aims to combine traditional western fantasy and the various hobbies / activities within the genre (art, crafts, gaming – particularly analogue gaming like tabletop RPGs, wargaming and card games – and activities like HEMA and even saber choreography) with live alternative music and local tattooing, blending local subcultures in one big melting pot. Hosted in *SCAPE Ground Theatre, Spell and Iron aims to cross-pollinate these subcultures, creating a larger, more unified culture and community (particularly for youths) in Singapore.
