SILENT DISCO ASIA CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF ICONIC HEADPHONE PARTIES IN SINGAPORE
A decade of unforgettable nights, skyline dancefloors, and a community built through music
Singapore — Silent Disco Asia is celebrating 10 years of transforming Singapore’s nightlife scene with immersive headphone parties that have brought thousands of people together on dancefloors across the city-state.
What began with a single sold-out event at Kult Kafe in May 2016 has evolved into one of Singapore’s most recognisable nightlife experiences — known for its glowing wireless headphones, multi-channel DJ battles, and unforgettable venues.
Over the past decade, Silent Disco Asia has hosted landmark events everywhere from Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck and Gardens by the Bay to the National Gallery, ArtScience Museum, and Singapore Countdown celebrations.
More than just parties, the events have sparked friendships, communities, and even love stories. In one standout moment, a couple who first met on the Silent Disco dancefloor later invited the team to recreate the experience at their wedding celebration at CHIJMES.
“Ten years later, it still feels surreal,” said Franc Gooding, Founder of Silent Disco Asia. “What started as a fun idea has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. This milestone belongs to every single person who has ever put on a pair of headphones and danced with us.”
To mark the occasion, Silent Disco Asia returns to its spiritual home — the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck — for a special 10th Birthday celebration high above the Singapore skyline.
Adding to the anniversary atmosphere, founder Franc Gooding will fly in from London to headline the Blue Channel for one night only.
Fans are also being encouraged to share their favourite Silent Disco memories online, celebrating a decade of unforgettable moments, singalongs, and dancefloor battles.
The 10th Birthday event promises a celebration dedicated to the community that has supported Silent Disco Asia from day one — marked the only way they know how: together on the dancefloor.
