Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) has partnered with Curiosity Kids, an educational organization known for its interactive and hands-on STEM workshops, to introduce the Magic Bubble Science Lab, a children’s workshop about the science of colours that inspires curiosity through play-based learning.
The hands-on workshop, suitable for young scientists aged 4 to 11, will run every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm throughout May. This 30-minute session will focus on the science of bubbles and colours, led by educators from Curiosity Kids. All necessary materials, lab coats, and goggles are provided, ensuring a fully immersive experience. Participants will engage in interactive experiments to discover the science behind chemical reactions and colour creation, turning everyday curiosity into valuable scientific exploration.
Curiosity Kids is known for making complex scientific concepts engaging and accessible. Their approach combines education and fun, encouraging exploration and fostering a love for learning through hands-on activities.
To participate in the Magic Bubble Science Lab, guests can purchase bundled General Admission and workshop tickets at $67, or opt for a standalone workshop $25 for non-members – however, MOIC members can enjoy the experience at $20. To become a MOIC member, simply sign up for the MOIC Annual membership card at $62, which provides unlimited access to the Museum of Ice Cream for one year.
For those looking to extend the fun with the best value, a bundled ticket priced at $67 includes both the interactive workshop and access to MOIC’s whimsically pink playspace with unlimited ice cream treats, promising a full day of immersive play and discovery.
