Cuturi Gallery is proud to present Illuminations of Women’s Prowess in Art, Science, Technology and Cultural Infusions, a milestone exhibition, curated by Carla Bianpoen and Henny Scott. The exhibition brings together four women artists from across Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific: Indah Arsyad and Irene Agrivina from Indonesia, Japanese-Australian Hiromi Tango, and Shen Jiaqi from Singapore, all working at the intersection of art, science and technology.
Their works span light, sculpture, textile, and installation. Each artist’s distinct practice, while deeply engaged with science and technology, is equally infused with cultural memory. Together, these artists spotlight how women have moved with unbound imagination while unlimited by gendered technology, redefining the very notion of creative expression.
Illuminations of Women’s Prowess in Art, Science, Technology and Cultural Infusions, will be on view at 61 Aliwal Street, Singapore 199937, from 27 September to 1 November 2025.
