The Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) is bringing its Community Carnival to two neighbourhoods this August, inviting families and residents to enjoy a day of games, activities and community spirit — all while learning how they can help give patients a second chance at life. Admission is free, and no registration is required.
When & Where:
● Saturday, 1 August 2026, 12.00pm–8.00pm — Anchorvale Village (near Farmway LRT, Sengkang)
● Saturday, 29 August 2026, 12.00pm–8.00pm — Plantation Plaza, Tengah
What families can look forward to:
● Hands-on games for all ages, including Feed Olly, Olly’s Match Quest, memory games, Jenga challenge and Floor is Lava;
● A Journey Card activity — complete the stations, collect stamps, and redeem a complimentary ice cream or popcorn;
● A PBSC mock-up experience, offering a simple, approachable look at what marrow donation involves;
● Olly’s Thank You Wall, celebrating the donors and supporters who make second chances possible; and
● The most important part of all – the option to sign up on the spot as a potential marrow donor, with a simple cheek swab!
More than just a carnival
The Community Carnivals mark the start of Match for Life 2026, BMDP’s flagship campaign to grow Singapore’s marrow donor registry, culminating in its flagship Match for Life event on 31 October 2026.
Whether visitors choose to register as potential donors, bring along family and friends, or simply learn more about bone marrow donation, every action helps strengthen the registry and brings hope to patients searching for a life-saving match.
BMDP is also encouraging existing registered donors to invite their family and friends to the carnival, turning a fun day out into the beginning of someone else’s donor journey.
