
Beans follows two Lance Corporals decommissioning a military ration bunker 20 metres underneath London as the world ends. They’re stuck in their old office they’ve been clearing out, and they only have one can of beans left.

Founded in 2021, Bowtie Productions (Yes, it is spelt that way) has been bringing new voices to the stage all across the world. Starting in Singapore and then expanding operations to the United Kingdom in 2024, BTP has organized shows of all sizes and genres, from the humble bar show, to Netflix recordings in theatres, to wrestling shows in a Thai discotheque, all the way to the stages of the most prestigious comedy festivals.
About Benedict Lim
Benedict Lim was born and raised in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and has been based in Singapore since 2013. Their work spans fiction, theatre, film and live performance, moving between Singapore and the U.K. They hold space for the liminal. They also hold space equally for fried chicken and black coffee, which they think cancel each other out.
As a performer, they’ve been in productions such as PACE (2026, narrative feature), Park Life (2025, short film), The Critic (2023, play), Brain Things (2023, play). Also, their producing credits include: The Asian Comedy Showcase (2024-2026), Off With Your Head (2024-2026), and the Netflix recording of ‘Deepak Chandran: Technically Funny’ (2025).
As a dramaturg, he has worked with Sam See on ‘And I Can’t Feel At Home In This World Any More’ (Edinburgh Fringe 2024).
About Benjamin Soon
Benjamin Soon is a 21-year-old dancer, actor, and circus practitioner who lives for the thrill of performance. He started his journey at the age of 7 and has been going strong ever since.
As a dancer, he was the runner-up in the 2022 East Side Session. As an actor, he was the lead in ’The Trip: What Happened in Larspura’, appearing both in the campaign film and its accompanying immersive theatre experience.
Most recently, he performed with Sangnam and Bornfire Circus in Flipside 2026 at Esplanade. Then, he’ll be joining the esteemed Phare Circus for a summer intensive programme at Siem Reap.
Beyond that, Benjamin is also pursuing a Diploma in Performance at the LaSalle College of the Arts.
