For one day only, Club Rangoon will host a special pop-up with Chooby Pizza, marking Singapore’s first-ever Burmese-flavoured pizza collaboration. Titled Club Chooby: A Slice of Yangon, the one-day pop-up takes place exclusively at Club Rangoon on Saturday, 10 January from 5pm.
Bringing together Club Rangoon’s contemporary interpretation of Burmese cuisine and Chooby Pizza’s boundary-pushing approach to naturally leavened pizzas, Club Chooby reimagines the flavours of Yangon in an unexpected yet thoughtful format. The collaboration introduces a lesser-seen cuisine in Singapore through one of the world’s most familiar comfort foods, without losing the integrity of its roots.
More than a flavour mash-up, Club Chooby is a considered culinary exchange. Each pizza is inspired by specific Burmese dishes and condiments, with Club Rangoon shaping the flavour architecture while Chooby Pizza reinterprets them through its signature slow-fermented dough. The result captures the spirit of Yangon’s bold, communal food culture in a way that feels both accessible and new.
