A Few Little Words II: Memories of the Future is a collection of creative writing workshops presented as part of Singapore Writers Festival, curated by Vertical Submarine. This series invites participants to imagine alternate futures, map secret places, script mythic dramas, and pen poetic visions of what’s to come.
Whether you’re journaling fragments of memory or writing news from the year 2035, each session offers a playful yet reflective space to explore language, identity, and possibility.
Led by writers and cultural thinkers including Dr Nuraliah Norasid, Regina de Rozario, Juliette Yu-Ming Lizeray, Victor Fernando R. Ocampo, Yeow Kai Chai, and Nadiputra, this second edition of A Few Little Words welcomes all curious minds — no prior writing experience needed.
Selected works developed through these workshops will be considered for inclusion in a community publication — edited by The Quarterly Literary Review Singapore — a collective archive of imagined futures and remembered stories.
Come with a few little words. Leave with a story only you could tell.
