Come hungry for an epic culinary experience

Situated on the ground level of the hotel, Element greeted me with a warm and inviting ambience. The abundant seating is comfortably spread out for a pleasant dining experience, ensuring ample personal space between tables. I particularly liked the lofty ceilings and unique light fixtures which added a touch of grandeur to the restaurant.
The buffet spread is set up in a single line, so you can slowly make your way down the sumptuous offerings. I’m talking about the full works of fresh seafood on ice, assorted sushi, hand rolls and sashimi, cold cuts and cheese, live carving stations, hot dishes, and desserts.
Festive delicacies and buffet must-haves worth your calories
Start off strong at the Japanese sushi counter, featuring aburi-style sushi, hand rolls, maki and sashimi. We hear this is one of the buffet’s crowd-favourite stations, so load up to avoid waiting for the next batch.

Just a few steps away are the buffet classics: fresh seafood on ice, cold cuts and cheese, and salad selection. If you’re a seafood lover, we highly recommend coming for the dinner buffet. On top of black mussels, half-shelled scallops and prawns, you’ll get to eat your fill of exclusive items like freshly shucked oysters, Boston lobster and snow crab legs. Psst: dinner packages also include two glasses of alcoholic beverage per person (wine, beer or gin and tonic), with Saicho sparkling tea for a non-boozy option!
And what’s a Christmas buffet without the quintessential roasts? Make a beeline for the live carving station, serving succulent slices of honey baked ham, roasted turkey breast, roasted ham and prime rib bone-in. The roasted turkey breast turned out to be my top pick. Surprisingly, it retained its juiciness and paired sublimely with the housemade gravy, and apple and cranberry sauces.

I also made a pitstop at the hot food section. Available on rotation, the delectable line-up includes potato gratin, truffle mashed potatoes, beef stew, chicken rendang, soto ayam and other delicacies.
Oh, and I’ve to give a shout-out to the herbal chicken soup. Rich, nourishing and packed with chicken chunks and cordyceps, this dish is pure comfort in a bowl. A heads-up: the Asian soups are available on rotation, but we highly recommend snagging yourself a bowl if you see it. It is an unusual standout at a Christmas buffet, but hey, we have to give credit when it’s due!
A sweet tooth’s haven
I’ll be honest: the glorious dessert set-up had caught my eye even before I tucked into the savoury dishes. From decadent chocolate log cakes to panna cotta and fruit cake, resistance to these festive desserts is simply futile.

Did we mention there’s also a pancake machine that dishes out warm, fluffy pancakes at the press of a button? Have them your way with an array of toppings and gelato.
After stuffing myself silly, my standout picks are the Christmas bread pudding that’s rich, creamy and velvety smooth; the cranberry coconut panna cotta for a taste of the tropics; and the bite-sized chocolate tarts.
Amara Singapore’s Christmas buffet: Sleigh or nay?
My verdict? It’s a sleigh from me! The wallet-friendly price-point, combined with the elegant ambience and wide buffet selection, makes this a holiday feast worth visiting. While the festive offerings may not be as wide-ranging as others, the irresistible dessert selection and succulent meat carvings are major wins.
To sweeten the holiday indulgence, we’ve got intel on perks that’ll make this buffet even more worthwhile. DBS cardmembers enjoy 50% off for every second, third and fourth adult; while OCBC cardmembers enjoy 40% off with a minimum of three adults (valid on Mondays and Tuesdays, T&Cs apply).
Set a date with your friends, family or beau, and indulge in a taste of the festivities at Amara Singapore’s Christmas 2025 buffet!
