We’re big proponents of the Affordable Art Fair for one undeniably good reason: they think art is for everyone. Translation: no, you don’t have to starve for that new art piece.
You’ll find thousands of original paintings, prints, sculpture, and photography priced from $100-$10,000, with 75% of the work under $7500. There’s even an Under $1000 wall for those on a budget! You don’t have to do the math to realize that this art fair abandons all notions of exclusivity and snootiness – even us amateurs have become converts.
There are big names you’ll recognize off the bat – internationally acclaimed artists like Anish Kapoor and Marc Quinn, as well as respected Singaporean artists like Ong Kim Seng and Boo Sze Yang, are immediate show-stealers. But look out for the emerging wave of artists curated by the Affordable Art Fair; with over 900 artists from around the world exhibiting style that range from classical modern to abstract art, you’ll be hard-pressed not to find a new darling fave.
And no need to test your patience here, folks – you’ll get to bring home your piece on the day itself with the free, professional wrapping services of the fair by Agility Fairs & Events.
Toting around kids? Drop them off at the Children’s Art Studio run by Art Boot Camp before shopping to your artistic soul’s delight. Or take a lunch break (vino included) at the Foodology Restaurant, G.H.MUMM Bar, Peroni Bar &Café and the DBS Lounge before heading for a live art demonstration.
