Cong Sao Veggie Express
Cong Sao has long been known as a popular Chinese dessert chain in Hong Kong. Given that the owner is a vegetarian herself, it didn’t take long for her to open Cong Sao Veggie Express. This place is dedicated to recreating traditional Cantonese vegetarian dishes, such as Sweet and Sour “Chicken” (made of monkey head mushrooms), Baked Tomato “Pork” Chop Rice and Truffle Fried Rice – and it’s definitely one of the best Chinese vegetarian places in Hong Kong!
Cong Sao Veggie Express, Shop 03, G/F, Everwin Building, 406-408 King’s Road, North Point, Hong Kong, p. 2877 9411, 北角英皇道406-408號康威大廈地下03號舖
Ahimsa Buffet
Ahimsa Buffet is one of the pioneers of the vegetarian buffet trend in Hong Kong. They offer a wide range of Chinese vegan and vegetarian dishes, including the freshly fried Tofu Skin Rolls, Homemade Turnip Cake (with big chunks of juicy turnips on the inside!) and Cantonese Coconut Red Bean Pudding. It’s only $68 for their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, so make sure you make a reservation by phone beforehand, or else you might not be able to get a seat in this hotspot.

InnoVeggie
Like Ahimsa Buffet, InnoVeggie was also early to the vegetarian buffet game. Whereas the former serves more Chinese items, InnoVeggie has a larger number of Western choices available, such as vegetarian pizza, bean salad and pasta. Other popular items include steamed vegan shao mai, vegetarian sweet buns and fried chives pancake. For only $68 during lunch hours and $100 at dinner time during weekdays, it’s a bargain that vegetarian food lovers won’t want to miss!

Sooo Vegi

Vegelink
During lunch hours, Vegelink offers different types of Chinese dishes and dim sum, like vegan dumplings, bbq “pork” bun and shao mai. For the evening, they run as a private kitchen for reservation customers.
