Are you wooing your new love interest in the hopes of a Lady and the Tramp moment? Well, Pici is the ultimate spot for your pasta dream
In addition to its traditional offerings like dim sum, there’s also an array of outstanding halal restaurants and Italian restaurants in Hong Kong. With a number of locations across Hong Kong, Pici is a neighbourhood pasta bar that serves up mouthwatering homemade Italian food created with love. See why we’re addicted to its pasta dishes. (Pssst: we reviewed the original Wan Chai version.)
Perfect pasta at Pici
There’s nothing quite like a large bowl of hearty pasta. Covered in parmesan and freshly made, it’s the cure to most ills, and goes exceptionally well with a large glass of wine. Enter Pici, an intimate pasta bar helmed by Executive Chef Andrea Viglione in Wan Chai that makes its pasta fresh daily and serves up delicious Italian wine to go along with it; enough said really.
What should you eat?

Well, I’ve eaten at Pici a few times now, and can honestly say that everything on the small-ish menu is great!
Start off with the freshly-made Burrata cheese that comes with tomatoes, basil and rocket or enjoy the Radicchio Salad that mixes hazelnuts and goat cheese – yum! Meat eaters will love the Homemade meatballs, and the restaurant also offers a selection of cold cuts for those looking to start off their meal with a range of antipasti.

The Strozzapreti with Mussels is a heavenly dish that features cherry tomatoes and saffron, and one of the most popular dishes, the Pappardelle, includes a slow-cooked beef cheek ragu that always gets rave reviews.
The Tagliatelle with porcini mushroom, butter and parmesan is definitely a great dish for anyone in need of comfort food, while the Tagliolini blends white truffle paste with freshly shaved black truffles for a truly decadent indulgence (#trufflelife!)
And whatever you do, please do not miss out on the tiramisu. With the perfect blend of coffee, cream, biscuits and booze, it would be a travesty to not finish your meal with this dessert!
