We're not too proud to admit that we fell down the giant hole known as Married at First Sight Australia season five. If you did too, then you may enjoy reliving your favourite moments with the help of our handy guide
We are pretty classy here at Honeycombers Hong Kong. When we aren’t expanding our mind with great books, we’re feeding our minds with insightful documentaries or podcasts that question social norms. But when we’re not doing that, occassionally we do like to dabble in the lowest of the low… reality TV! Hence this Married at First Sight Australia guide to Hong Kong that you didn’t even know you needed. If you’re having withdrawal symptoms like us, you may want to see whereabouts in the city you can harness a little MAFS magic.
Married at First Sight Australia guide to Hong Kong
So, you wanna be a rapper like Dean
Struth! Old Deano (rap name: Visionz) was a naughty, naughty boy in Married at First Sight Australia season five. We vehemently hated his actions and often misogynistic comments but simultaneously loved him for bringing the drama. One thing’s for sure, your boy’s got mad rapping skills, and if you want to serenade your Tracey, then go straight to Red MR, as they have the best selection of tracks in town. #yougavemeashotyouresohot

Swim with dolphins like Troy and Ash
Ash really decided to make things work with Troy during home visit week by taking him to swim with the dolphins. While they eventually engaged in a mutual dumping at the final commitment ceremony, they will always have dolphin kisses and awkward PDA instances to remember each other by. Nowadays, Troy is way more interested in kissing Carly than dolphins, but if you want to swim them in HK, then head to Ocean Park.
Pump up the (lip) volume like Tracey and Davina
Two luscious ladies with lovely lips and only one Dean! When these two women weren’t busy fighting over a guy who puts the play in player-McPlayerson, they were often to be found whetting their voluptuous whistles. Who knew fillers were so dehydrating? Anyway, if you’re looking to pump up in Hong Kong at any stage, the best place to hit is definitely Life Clinic who have a team of doctors from across the globe who specialise in anti-aging.
Enjoy the best wine like Mel and John
One of our fave couples, Mel and John always had a blast in each other’s company, and developed a bit of a reputation for being the wine connoisseurs of the group. If you are a wine fan with a friendly disposition like the lovely Mel and John, then head straight to La Cabane Wine Bistro for an amazing selection of natural wines, and some of the loveliest staff in town. It’s also the perfect place to drown your sorrows when you find out that these guys actually called it quits a few weeks after the show finished. I guess Altona is just too awesome.
