They are strong, they are invincible, they are women, and here are all the International Women's Day events in Hong Kong for 2020
Hong Kong is full of wonderful women doing great things. Celebrated on Sunday, 8 March this year, we’ve found all the International Women’s Day events in Hong Kong 2020 that should be on your radar.
1. The Women’s Foundation Hong Kong Presents International Women’s Day 2020 Gala Lunch
The Women’s Foundation Hong Kong will hold the International Women’s Day 2020 Gala Lunch this year on 2 March at Conrad Hong Kong. Themed Designing Equality, a panel of inspiring women from the architecture and design world, including Director of Design Trust Marisa Yiu and architect Kian Yam, will discuss the interaction of gender and design.
Alongside the lunch and panel, an audience of 500 women from the worlds of academia, corporate, government and media will be in attendance for networking opportunities.

2. Charity Dinner Collaboration at Tate Dining Room
On 5 March, 2020, Tate Dining Room will welcome seven leading females from various industries to join Chef and Owner Vicky Lau for a charity dinner collaboration. Each of the ladies, including Restaurateur Yenn Wong and Editorial Director of Dining at Hong Kong Tatler Charmaine Mok, will be serving up their own dish at this 8-course dining extravaganza, with proceeds being donated to the Beyond Foundation, an organisation that helps make Hong kong a better place for children living with special needs.
The International Women’s Day menu is priced at $1780 plus 10%, with additional drinks pairing available from $480 plus 10%.

3. International Women’s Day at Fivelements Habitat celebrating Women Warriors in Wellness
On Sunday, 8 March from 7am-9pm, Fivelements Habitat will be celebrating Women Warriors in Wellness. Female vegan entrepreneurs, sustainability experts, female founders and healers will share their wellness practices and ideas on life transformation, feminine empowerment, and earth advocacy.
A single-day pass will get you access to attend multiple sessions with the likes of Jasmine Nunns from Kembali and Honey pamnani from Laughter Medicine, and parts of the proceeds will benefit Her Fund, an organisation whose mission is to mobilise resources for women’s empowerment.

4. International Women’s Day Festive Special by Yale Alumni Chamber Music Society of Hong Kong
On Sunday, 8 March at 3pm, be sure to head to All Saints’ Cathedral in Mong Kok to listen to the Yale Alumni Chamber Music Society of Hong Kong as they celebrate International Women’s Day. While entry is free, you do need to register here to save your spot.
5. International Women’s Day 2020 Divorced Women & Mental Health Event
The Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres will run the International Women’s Day 2020 Divorced Women & Mental Health Event on Sunday, 8 March. Here, the results of the research on Divorced Women and Mental Health will be released with the aim of requesting the government to solve problems that divorced women in Hong Kong face. A range of legislation, cases and guest sharing sessions will be heard alongside and art exhibition of works by divorced women.
