Why HKUST MBA?

MBA Masterclass: An immersion of student life
Following the programme introduction by Professor Stephen Shih, Associate Dean of MBA Programmes, esteemed Professor Stephen Nason will take over with an MBA Masterclass from 10.30 to 11.30am. Put on your thinking caps as you dive into the topic of “Navigating Risk and Uncertainty: Is AI a Saviour or Devil?”. Not only does this masterclass promise to be thought-provoking, but it showcases HKUST Business School’s academic rigour, expertise in business technology, and strong vision for the future. Prepare to engage yourself intellectually and leave with invaluable knowledge.
Information Session: Hear directly from current students and graduates
After a short break, the HKUST MBA Open House will resume with the Student and Alumni Panel at 11.40am. You’ll get to pick between attending the sharing session delivered by full-time or part-time students. During the 50-minute panel, you’ll gain an authentic, first-hand look into the MBA experience at HKUST Business School. The speakers will share their insights into the curriculum and campus life. By the end, you should feel more informed and confident about your decision to pursue the degree.
Alumni/Student Sharing or Mingling: Connect with the MBA community
From 1 to 2pm, you’ll have lunch while mingling with fellow candidates and students, past and present. Then, the next two hours cover a campus tour and consultation. The afternoon gives you the opportunity to tap into the guidance of those who have successfully navigated the programme and transitioned into their careers. You can also network with graduates to learn how an MBA has impacted their professional trajectories. Hopefully, hearing the personal stories from the MBA cohort will inspire and motivate you to apply to the programme.
