A true crime-inspired production

Distressed Asset tells the story of Susan Goldsmith, who appears to be living the “expat dream”. Not only is she the wife of Spencer, a high-flying investment banker in Hong Kong, she also has two children and is taken care of by a domestic helper. But behind closed doors, Susan is deeply unhappy. With domestic abuse affecting her mental health and her perspective of reality, she finds it increasingly hard to endure her 20-year toxic marriage – and Spencer’s request for divorce drives her over the edge. Conspiring with her lover to murder Spencer, Susan is turning to the dark side. Will the killing go according to plan? Come be a witness to this dramatic mystery!
