Sushi lovers, want to try something innovative and tasty? You need to make a visit to Chotto Maki
Are you a big fan of sashimi, tempura or soba noodles? If so, then there are a number of Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong that might put a grin on your face, such as Honjo, Zuma, and To Autumn. And when it comes to sushi, Chotto Maki in Central makes deliciously fresh rolls that will make you drool. Now, grab your chopsticks!
Rollin, rollin, rollin at Chotto Maki
Sitting pretty on Li Yuen Street West, Chotto Maki is a great place for lunch in Central. Why do we love it? Well… at Chotto Maki you can choose from over 30 fresh ingredients and tailor make sushi rolls that make your personal tastebuds water. Fan of truffle? Add some truffle mayo to your seafood creation. Can’t get enough unagi? The Chotto Maki team will stuff a roll chock-a-block full of unagi goodness for you.
But never fear, if you aren’t feeling creative enough to design your own roll, just let the talented sushi creators do their thing and choose from the menu. Our favourites are definitely the Sea Monster (crabstick, tempura prawn Sakura prawn and cucumber with unagi sauce) and the Veggie Lover, that includes beetroot, asparagus, garlic chips and that legendary truffle mayo – yum!
Starting from just $68, these rolls are absolutely HUGE, and the only bad thing about them is the fact that all other sushi seems tiny in comparison. Shout outs to the cool music that Chotto Maki has on rotation, giving us the breezy vibes of L.A. while we chow down on our sush (yeah, I said: sush). This is definitely one of our favourite lunch spots in Central.
