With its ocean views and epic brews, you'll want to swing by Kuta's brand new coffee shop on the breezy Beachwalk rooftop...
Any coffee connoisseur will be very well acquainted with Expat. Roasters. They’re Bali’s specialty coffee producers that have found their way into the coolest cafes and restaurants across the island. And it’s easy to see why. These bean buffs are dedicated to sharing their award-winning knowledge and abiding passion for coffee to the masses, not only focusing on pouring the best brews around, but also offering education and training across Indonesia and beyond.
They also work closely and respectfully with local Indonesian farmers to bring you the best and most sustainable beans possible. They then take coffee-sipping clientele on a “from the ground up” journey (from bean to cup) within their interactive and totally approachable brew bars. The result? Their flagship brew bar in hip and happening Petitenget took Seminyak by storm, and now, they’re making even more waves in Bali with a second island location – this time on the top floor of Kuta’s ever famous Beachwalk Shopping Mall…
You’ll love it because… at this new Beachwalk address, you not only get to sip on Expat’s legendary specialty coffee, you can also soak up epic ocean views over Kuta Beach, alongside the largest collection of Expat’s retail goodies and merchandise (hellooooo tropical shirts, coffee machines and Expat aprons!). This new rooftop location also offers a fully interactive experience at the brew bar in the middle of the store, where coffee geeks can get up close and personal with some V60 action…
You’ll want to try the… iced coffee menu, because this is balmy Bali after all! The collection of iced coffees here includes Expat’s signature cold brew that uses Kintamani single origin beans, brewed in cold water for 16 hours before being filtered three times for the perfect balance in every cup.
Come back for the… relaxed rooftop vibes in the heart of Kuta’s hustle and bustle. With the hum of Beachwalk’s shopaholics below, it’s easy to forget there are swaying palms and an ocean vista out yonder. At this elevated perch, you can see Kuta Beach in all its glory – the perfect spot to take a break from a shopping spree. Chill out over a cup of coffee, and nibble on Expat’s house-made banana bread that uses a single-origin espresso butter. Yum!
