The British fashion designer channels pretty in pink for her latest Barbie inspired shoe collection
First it was Moschino who went mad over all things Barbie, sending down a collection that screamed pretty in pink. Now, British footwear designer Sophia Webster has caught the Barbie bug and will soon be releasing a collection that’s inspired by the fantastic plastic woman.
The collection, which will comprise of fabulous sneakers, sandals and stilettos, will debut in select Asian cities like Singapore, Hong Kong and Jakarta on 4 September. In addition to the adult styles, the brand will also be releasing options for the littles ones, perfect for mother and daughter teams that take matching outfits seriously.
To accompany this range, a Sophia Webster Barbie doll was produced, as well as a short film directed by Sharna Osborne that stars singer-songwriter Kali Uchis.
