Tell us your story, how did you get here?
I started exploring music seriously around 2017. I’ve been fortunate to meet and be surrounded by some of the greatest, most talented individuals! Flightsch, my mentor, signed me to his label M03 Records. Since then, we’ve been steadily building. Can’t believe it’s been 5 years!
What impact have you made in Singapore?
Pursuing music, especially hip-hop, isn’t common in Singapore. I believe the work we as a team have put in these past few years has been instrumental in changing perspectives surrounding art and culture! And it’s truly just the beginning.
What does 2022 look like for you?
A lot more creating, collaborating, travelling, planning… 2022 is the year for all of us to level up in every way possible.
What do you love most about Singapore?
The multiculturalism and bilingualism we have. It’s so deeply embedded into Singaporean culture and it gives me so much joy when I talk about it to friends overseas. It’s uniquely Singapore!
Tell us about the coolest performance you’ve ever seen.
The coolest performance I’ve ever witnessed was probably John Mayer when he came to Singapore. That man is something else!
Who is your Local Legend, and why?
My local legend is Mr. Mustaq Ahmad, the owner of Mustafa Centre.
