Singer-songwriter

In his journey from YouTube covers to chart-toppers, Joel Tan is a force to be reckoned with. After dropping his debut EP in 2014 as Gentle Bones, fans fell in love with his soulful vocals and poignant lyrics. Universal Music Group signed him on in 2015 as the first Singaporean act on the label. Since then, the singer-songwriter has taken his music across the globe to perform sold-out solo concerts and festivals from South Korea to London to Hong Kong.
Eight years after his debut, he finally released his first full album featuring collaborations with local and regional artists like Benjamin Kheng, Clara Benin and Tay Kewei. He even collaborated with his long-time idol, Mandopop singer JJ Lin, on a track titled “At Least I Had You”. As if that’s not enough, Joel also runs his record label Yung Lee Records to help give fellow artists a boost in their careers.
