About Rachel Teo
Rachel is a lifestyle writer, editor, and proofreader, and had her first foray into copywriting almost ten years ago. After earning her Masters, she was a bioethics researcher by day, and copywriter by night – juggling the many hats that life threw her way. Rachel eventually moved to Japan for a teaching job, and started writing travel articles for the Honeycombers, Japan Travel, as well as lifestyle pieces for Admano Inc. (a Tokyo-based digital media agency). She continues to expand her writing portfolio as a freelance writer today.
Part outdoor adventurer and part veteran homebody, Rachel has a knack for finding the best places to experience traditional cultures. She also enjoys eating new and tasty foods, and grounds herself the most while savouring the little things in life. She loves coffee, journalling, and is an avid picnicker. Being a long-time resident of Japan, she loves crafting stories about the places that are hardly visited – shining the spotlight onto hidden gems and sharing her passion as she goes!
