Shi Fu Miz is back this October (and we can’t wait!)
Escape the city feels of Hong Kong and jump on a ferry to Cheung Chau this October, where three stages await you at the fifth Shi Fu Miz Festival. Set on Sai Yuen Farm, the lineup features local and international acts that are at the top of the game in the worlds of house and techno, while there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy too.
What to expect
If you’ve never been to Shi Fu Miz before, then you’re in for a treat! Over the course of two days, you’ll enjoy dusk till dawn activities, including: yoga, street art, martial arts and a selection of workshops and talks.
On top of this, world-class DJs will be hitting the decks and helping you get your groove on. In its constant effort to shine the light on local acts, even the Boiler Room will host to Hong Kong musicians, with the likes of Ocean Lam, K-Melo, and Utopia taking the stage. Coming all the way from London, Boiler Room is the world’s biggest televised underground music streaming giant with an audience of more than three million on Facebook alone
International artists like Peach, Lean Willikens, and Marcellus Pittman will also be bringing their signature styles to Cheung Chau, as well as a whole lost of other acts that will get you in the mood to party.
Sustainability is key
We’re excited to say that the team behind the event has made a big commitment to sustainability this year, including beach clean-ups in the programme alongside eco-talks. On top of this, the organisers have also set a new goal towards becoming a zero-waste event, and we think that’s pretty awesome. This low-waste iteration forbids plastic bottles, instead encouraging festival goers to BYO reusable bottles and to take advantage of the water stations available across the site.
