The Landmark Mandarin Oriental in Central has just revealed its new Entertainment Suite designed by Joyce Wang and featuring a host of great technology, and if this stunning suite doesn’t scream staycation, then we don’t know what does!
The Entertainment Suite at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental
The culmination of an 18-month renovation period that has seen The Landmark Mandarin Oriental in Central transformed, the hotel has just revealed its new Entertainment Suite, the largest on offer at the property.
The vision of renowned Hong Kong designer and architect Joyce Wang, the suite sits over 2,250sq-ft and is dedicated to extravagant entertaining, such as exclusive product launches, intimate wedding proposals, anniversary events or bachelor parties.
Luxurious design and cutting edge technology
Wang custom designed all of the hand-made furnishings in the Entertainment Suite, including a series of glass moulded chandeliers, wall finishes in limestone with metal inlay, and a set of acrylic cabinet doors decorated with nature-inspired artwork.
Sitting at the heart of the suite is a salon that features a four-metre long Cabinet of Delights, where guests will find rare wines selected by Amber restaurant’s expert sommelier and a special mixologist booth. Also on offer are Cuban cigars, a popcorn machine, a selection of exotic teas and coffees, and a crystal vitrine filled with delicacies created by the hotel’s Michelin-star chef.
In the living area, guests can enjoy the B&O BeoLab sound system and a concealed 160-inch TV screen with a 5000 lumens laser projector. A custom-designed coffee table conceals a range of the latest virtual reality and PlayStation gaming equipment, while a reconditioned 1930’s vintage American jukebox is included for guests who wish to spin some vinyl.
The ultimate master bedroom and bathroom
The stunning master bedroom includes its own sitting area and a separate dressing area that features a walk-in wardrobe; leather padded walls and hand tufted silk rugs have been added to give the ultimate luxe finish.
A freestanding oval bathtub has been crafted from a single piece of marble and comes complete with its own custom-designed champagne caddy, while the rain-shower’s multi jet system allows a selection of aromatherapy capsules to be added for total relaxation.
