Ochadozo is presenting its BYOB (Bring Your Own Bowl) Matcha event at @thealleyrestaurant_hk in To Kwa Wan. Here’s your chance to enjoy matcha together with local communities!
Participants will be given a portion of ceremonial grade matcha powder from Japan, a chasen (bamboo tea whisk) for use at venue, and hot water. Certified Japanese tea instructor, Yuki Futami of Ochadozo, will demonstrate matcha preparation and whisking techniques, and briefly discuss Japanese tea-related topics. If you wish, feel free to write down a word or draw pictures which come to mind about your bowl. (If time permits, you may even share stories about your bowl!)
Curated by Ms Futami, Ochadozo’s BYOB event series allows participants to whisk their own matcha while learning about Japanese tea culture in Hong Kong.

- Session 1 (high school students only): 2.30 – 3.10pm
- Session 2 (open to public): 3.40 – 4.20pm
- Session 3 (open to public): 4.50 – 5.30pm
