Here’s a four-hands dinner collab worth getting excited about. Chef Peter Find of contemporary German restaurant Heimat is joining forces with Chef Ah Wai of local eatery Dim Siu Yi for a special one-night-only collaboration. These master chefs will showcase their signature dishes in a compelling German-Cantonese menu for discerning palates.
Personally, I’m keen to see how Dim Siu Yi’s diverse Cantonese flavours will pair alongside Heimat’s German staples. In particular, the Dim Siu Yi’s Steamed Ma Yau Fish and Soy Sauce Chicken as well as Heimat’s famous Spatzle, served with XO sauce and caramelised smoked pork belly for the occasion, have caught my eye.
