
The second edition of Mandarin Grill + Bar’s guest chef series is here! Chef Christiaan Stoop of three-Michelin-starred Taian Table Shanghai will be setting up shop at the restaurant from 24 to 26 April. Exclusively on the 24 April, founder of Taian Table Chef Stefan Stiller will join Chef Stoop for a one-night-only four-hands culinary experience.
Celebrated for his innovative creativity and exceptional culinary skill, Chef Stoop has worked alongside culinary legends such as Heston Blumenthal, Carme Ruscalleda, and Joël Robuchon across Germany, Spain, the UK, India, Dubai, and China. Chef Stoop has also recently received The Best Chef Award – World Class 2024, reflecting his culinary prowess and status among the industry’s elite.
At Taian Table, Chef Stoop has maintained the restaurant’s three Michelin stars, elevating its quality and dining experience through an inventive, seasonally driven menu that reimagines European cuisine with subtle Asian influences. His exclusive six-course set dinner menu at Mandarin Grill + Bar will showcase his signature dishes. Expect stunning creations such as Foie Gras with Smoked Lentils and Vadouvan Curry Foam, Torched Carabinero with Kumquat Kosho, and Taian Table’s signature Uni Sourdough with brown butter – a dish that perfectly embodies the restaurant’s philosophy of balancing refined techniques with bold, sensory-rich elements.
