In anticipation of Arts Month and beyond, Fortnum & Mason has announced a partnership with renowned China-based artist Kim Xu for a six-month exhibition and collaboration across both the Fortnum & Mason retail store and 181 restaurant. This forges a connection between Eastern and Western cultures, showcasing Kim Xu’s work throughout Fortnum & Mason, through which the brand exemplifies its long-standing connection to the arts via celebration of craft and hosting of exhibitions. Specially curated to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the artist’s first solo exhibition at Taikoo Hui in Shanghai, Kim Xu’s exhibition at 181 Fortnum & Mason will provide inspiration to diners.
Intersecting arts and gastronomical delights, the culinary team at 181 has interpreted Kim’s aesthetics into its modern European cuisine, the exclusive menu available for just a month from 26 March to 25 April. Additionally, two limited-edition gift sets featuring the artist’s favourite products will bring this cultural programme to life.
Opening hours: 11am – 1.30pm (lunch); 6.30 – 10pm (dinner) (except Sunday lunch)
