On the lookout for innovative event spaces in Hong Kong that will wow your guests? We’ve put together a list of our faves for you
Let’s face it, living in a city that never sleeps often means that our social calendar is just as jam-packed as our work schedule. While we all love chilling at rooftop bars, exploring the outlying islands around Hong Kong, or discovering things to do in Macau, there’s nothing like going to a cool party or gathering in a completely unique space. So we’ve put together a list of epic event venues in Hong Kong to make your occasion memorable.
Mudita

Oh how we love Mudita, let us count the ways! This is actually where we held our fabulous second birthday party, and boy did the team make it easy. Planning events is their business, so they can help with everything from the booze to the food to the soundtracks and even logistics. Or just have your planner do the work, and they do everything they can to accommodate. We think this is one of the best event venues in Hong Kong because it’s totally Central (people won’t drop out, as it’s so close to the office!), it has a great sound system and the general vibe is perfect for everything from business networking to private knees up. And did we mention the alfresco space?

Chalk Party

For party-goers who wish to have a blast without battling through the crowds at Lan Kwai Fong, head to Chalk Party, a BYOB upstairs blacklight event venue where you can scribble on the walls with blacklight chalk. Make sure you dress in white, preferably in a disposable top, as you will be covering your outfits with neon shades, thanks to the T-shirt painting service at the venue. Add some personal touches on your party attire with some funky sunglasses, headband and wigs, which is all inclusive in the package. When you’re done adorning your outfits, head up to the rooftop where you can go for a beer pong game or two, or enjoy some shisha.
