2. 28 Discovery Cafe
If you love coffee and cake, then 28 Discovery Cafe needs to be on your hit-list. Not only do they do a great coffee, but the space is also home to Rainbow Cakery, a bakery that crafts homemade cakes, breads, and pastries. If you’re looking for something more, sample from their menu of salads, pizzas, and daily hot dishes, and you can even pick up a range of curated condiments here.

3. Coffee 101

Head up to Braemar Hill and enjoy a coffee at Coffee 101. Specialising in perfectly brewed coffees and a range of specialty drinks, it’s the ideal spot to rest and relax; you might even forget you’re in Hong Kong! We love their ice drip on a hot summer day, and they even have some outdoor seating to add to the relaxed vibe.

4. Cafe Gen
Enjoy a range of cheesecakes and French pastries with your coffee at Cafe Gen. This popular little spot also serves up some tasty pasta dishes, sandwiches, and salad to stave off hanger.

6. Pause It

With one branch in Mong Kok, this spacious cafe has gained quite the popularity on Instagram, leading them to open a second branch in North Point. If you’re an avid cafe-hopper and you want to bag some attention on your blog, snap a shot of the charcoal latte, or non-caffeinated options like the red velvet latte and purple potato latte are too pretty to resist. Another eye-grabbing item on the menu is the beetroot chicken risotto, so much contrast, but also so much taste and flavour!

7. Artistry Brewing Company
This cafe boasts a botanical farm vibe with its green plants, fresh flowers, and wooden seating, from entrance till end. It’s so homely, you almost won’t feel like leaving. The blueberry basque cheesecake is one other reason you’ll be glued to your chairs wanting more. Pair it with a soothing fruit tea or coffee of your choice.

8. Kickstart Coffee
Bring back the old school motorbike era! Kickstart your day at this retro biker obsessed cafe. The vintage telephones and radios are super cute and this little joint brews up some pretty good stuff. We love their espresso panna cotta (you read that right!) and homemade basque burnt cheesecake, we typically pair ours with a piccolo latte and we’re sorted.
