Broadway International Group and CAEG will co-present this production by an all-Broadway creative team, led by three-time Tony Award Winner Jack O’Brien, fusing fresh new ideas within the original framework that earned long-standing acclaim for both the Broadway musical and the Hollywood film.
This highly acclaimed original production tells the uplifting true story of Maria, the fun-loving governess who changed the lives of the widowed Captain Von Trapp and his seven children by reintroducing them to music, culminating in the family’s flight across the Austrian mountains as tensions rise prior to the outbreak of World War II.

Hong Kong audiences will hear musical favourites live on stage, including Do-Re-Mi, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, Edelweiss, My Favourite Things, and the beloved title song, The Sound of Music.
