About Louise
Editor & Director, Honeycombers Bali
Hi, I’m Louise! I'm the Editor & Director of Honeycombers Bali (PT Honeycombers Indonesia Group). After 8 years at Honeycombers, I'm a digital expert with a passion for writing about Bali travel, food, luxury hotels, spas, bars and Indonesian culture.
After earning my Bachelor's Degree in English Language & Communication at King's College London, I moved to Bali full-time in 2012. Since then, I’ve been writing about Bali and Indonesia for over a decade. I started as the Editor In Chief for a luxury travel magazine, and now I lead the digital content at Honeycombers Bali.
I’ve reviewed more than 500 hotels, restaurants, bars and spas all over Bali, and I’ve visited more than 50 other islands across Indonesia (and counting!). My expertise in eating, drinking and adventuring is not only my work, it's also my biggest passion.
I know Bali like the back of my hand, and I love sharing my recommendations with our Honeycombers readers. Bali feels like my true home, and I am forever grateful to get to experience the island's culture, its kind-hearted people and natural beauty. There's simply nowhere else in the world like Bali. Terima kasih, Bali!
