‘Tis the season to be jolly, and nothing says fun like letting your creativity flow with blooms of all shapes, sizes, and colours.
In the mood to create something handmade? Let loose your artistic side and get into the festivities with pretty petals and beautiful blossoms. No matter if you’re a curious learner or an avid enthusiast – our festive wreath masterclass, held over two days and hosted by florist Charlotte Puxley, will teach you all the tips and tricks to putting together your own work of art.
In the world of flowers…
With years of experience under her belt, Charlotte is the florist behind Charlotte Puxley Flowers, a brand that takes inspiration from the English countryside in its fab and fresh creations. Her Tan Boon Liat studio is also home to a curated collection of handmade ceramics, coloured pickle jars and classic cut glasses.
It’s all about floral fun
Using dried and preserved flowers in rustic reds, burnt oranges and crisp yellows, the session takes you through coordinating colours and complementary blooms to fashion a customized willowed wreath arrangement. After you’re attuned to the basics of colour, texture and form, you’ll get a crash course on all things floral, using unusual and intriguing flowers as examples.
Not to worry if you don’t have the tools for it, ‘cos all materials will be provided (plus light bites too). Just come ready to be inspired as you mingle, make merry and dive into your creative side. Once you’ve put the finishing touches on your unique wreath, you’re all ready to take it home and find a cosy spot for it. The best part? It’ll give you warm Christmas vibes all the way till December!
Psst… participants get a 10 percent discount off all vases in the Charlotte Puxley studio, so feel free to shop around for something extra to bring home.
