We’ll be sipping milkshakes by the river, tasting wines on Club Street and camping out on an app to score some dining deals. Let the week of food begin!
What can we say? We’re good at hunting for the best pastries and bakes, trying out cuisines in town from Mexican to mod-sin, and hawker fare to keep it real, on top of the game with new spots to eat and honestly, all we ever do is plan our next meal. Food news and culinary happenings? You can trust us.
Summer is for sinful milkshakes
When it gets so hot outside, don’t you just want to sit somewhere and sip on something cold and sweet to beat the muggy weather? Riverside restaurant Summerlong will be rolling out their selection of super special (and sinful) milkshakes. Flavours include Passion of the fruit, Mint Condition, Peanut Butter Jelly Time (topped with an actual PB&J sandwich!), Raspberry Rhapsody and Mango Unchained, all priced at $16++.
Summerlong, 60 Robertson Quay #01-04, Singapore 238252

Natural wine bar Le Bon Funk opens up at Club Street
Vino-curious about natural wines? A crash course at Le Bon Funk should do. Essentially, natural wine is made with zero or low intervention. No chemicals, and as few additives (if any) as possible. Here’s the danger: natural wines are incredibly easy to drink and head sommelier Josée Yeomans does not like to see empty glasses… Besides its excellent wine list (it changes on some days), the food is worth going for as well. We should know, we had a great time there.
