You guys! When we aren’t out eating at Mexican restaurants across the city, toning up (or at least trying to) at barre class or dancing the night away at the best nightclubs in Hong Kong, we have our ear to the ground, as we listen out for all the latest Hong Kong gossip. And like any good friend, of course we’ll tell you what we know, just keep it on the down-low, OK?!

Posto Pubblico introduces new menu
Some extra good Hong Kong Kong gossip comes from the team at Posto Pubblico that has launched a new menu that celebrates local produce and seasonal ingredients, and we give it two very enthusiastic thumbs up! In line with the new-look dining room, guests can indulge in a selection of new dishes at the New York-Italian eatery, including Pork Braciole, Homemade Ravioli and vegetable-centric side dishes that change up on the regular. You have to try the kale, that gives you all the zingy feels and the homemade mozzarella is a creamy treat that can’t be missed either.
Wine, Baos, Sangria!

Come along and enjoy the fun at the first edition of Wine, Baos, Sangria!, a tasting event without the slideshow and the stuffiness. We’ll be pairing baos with wine, doing some blind tasting and even teaching you how to make sangria in conjunction with Milestone Beverages. Feather & Bone will be putting on the nibbles, and every guest will leave with at least one bottle of wine. Tickets are limited – and just $200 if you’re a subscriber – so grab yours now. (This is Hong Kong gossip that you’re very welcome to share!)
Nail Care 2 opens in Kennedy Town

In need of a good pedi in Kennedy Town? Nail Care 2 has just opened on Sands Street, and I can personally attest to speedy and quality manicures and pedicures. Best of all it’s only $148 for a soft gel manicure, $238 for a soft gel pedicure or $150 for a men’s pedicure – loving that value!

From the same team that brought you The Optimist and Pici, Madame Ching opens this month on Star Street, serving Chinese dishes such as Char Siu and Roast Goose along with a range of contemporary takes on Chinese cuisine.
