Summer in Bali is a party-goers playground, and if there’s one place that’s always keeping us on our dancing toes with its high season events and beach club blowouts, it’s KU DE TA. With its Endless Summer series of celebrations and big-name events, this iconic island destination is where it’s at throughout the months of July, August and even September for the biggest parties on the beach…
Hosting a string of exhilarating events, KU DE TA’s party period is kicking off with two big acts in July, before a sizzling, all-day party to really heat things up in August. There’ll be plenty of sundowner sessions bookending this anticipated event, followed by KU DE TA’s legendary White Party that’s geared up to become the ultimate summer climax that you won’t wanna miss!
So, to help you keep track of KU DE TA’s summer happenings, here are the four big parties to add to your high season hit-list. Round up your party people, don your best bikini and don’t forget that dazzling white dress – it’s set to be one helluva sizzling summer on the Seminyak beachfront!
1. Some Like It Hot Summer Party – Saturday 3rd August
Flexing some seriously musical muscles, “Some Like It Hot” is KU DE TA’s summer party that’s promising round-the-clock revelry on Saturday 3rd August. Kicking off from 2pm, prepare to step into a technicoloured wonderland as KU DE TA is adorned with bright island-inspired décor and electrifying tropical vibrations. A spellbinding sundown set from Britain’s Ray Mang will help you slip into a tropical state of mind as you groove beneath the palms, before the sultry vocals of Roland Clark take you into the night, ready for some deep jackin’ house from Joeski.
But that’s not all. Starting the party early, KU DE TA is putting on a Sizzlin’ Shichirin’ Feast from 12pm – 3.30pm, dishing up an array of Pan-Asian delights on a bespoke table-top grill. Designed to fully fuel your tribe for a day of dancing ahead, the scrumptious lunch includes a bottle of AIX rosé for two and admission to the party after. Honeys, you’ll want to wear your most vibrant island attire for this one!

2. The “Metropolis” White Party – Saturday 17th August
Oh yes, it’s the annual summer party that everyone’s been waiting for! The legendary (and we don’t use that word lightly) White Party is ready to pull out all the stops for 2019, and this year, the theme of this iconic event will be an avant-garde, film-noir vision of the future that mixes Art Deco with Artificial Intelligence. And what does that mean, we hear you cry? We’re not entirely sure, but expect to fall down the rabbit hole where the boundaries between the real and surreal will be blurred – all in true KU DE TA style, of course – with the sublime sounds of Kurd Maverick and Supernova guiding you through this dazzling dystopia until late…
All of this kicks off from 7pm, but for foodies who want to up the evening’s ante with a gourmet feast to start, KU DE TA’s Supper Club invites you to graze on free-flow canapés and a welcome drink on the upper deck before a stunning four-course dinner below. Or, take things up another notch with a “Pure Luxe” dinner at Mejekawi, where you can preside over the party and indulge in a carefully-crafted tasting menu with optional wine pairing – after all, a memorable night begins with a memorable meal, and this one includes admission to the party and access to the VIP Deck too! White Party 2019 – we’re ready for you…

3. Late Night Loves
Throughout the summer season, KU DE TA will be hosting a series of late-night events alongside its big-name parties, with a slew of high-calibre talents and international DJs hitting the beachfront decks. Josh Butler and Sandy Rivera have already brought attention to these late-night summer loves, while in the coming months, party-goers will be able to get up close and groovy with Phil Weeks, Fred Everything and Fleetmac Wood. This intimate space on the second floor of KU DE TA is an audiophile’s dream, and while the nights can get hot and heavy in here, just a stone’s throw away is the upper deck, where an ocean breeze and panoramic views cool you down in between dance-offs...
4. Sundowner Sun-ssions
KU DE TA’s Endless Summer season would not be complete without a few iconic sundown sessions, so on July 28th, DJ Maestro and Manga Elektrika will be exceeding all your Bali sunset expectations with a combination of jazz & funk, shaken and stirred with some deep house. Then, on Sunday 4th of August, Ray Mang will be returning after the Some Like It Hot party for an uber-chilled, hangover-soothing session – hair of the dog has never looked so good!
For KU DE TA’s full summer lineup, keep your eyes peeled on their news and events page, and we’ll see you on the dance-floor!
