There will plenty of other activities at this family-friendly beach bash, including a mass Zumba dance by the seaside and a movie under the stars. Nothing spells ‘romance’ like catching the sunset with a run or walk by the Sentosa beach.

MetaSprint Series
11 February, 11 March, 15 April
One for the seriously fit, the Metasprint series is not your average marathon. Instead, it comprises an aquathlon at Palawan Beach, a duathlon at the F1 Village and a triathlon at East Coast Park from February to April. Swimmers can enjoy a swim and run combo at its aquathlon, while its duathlon is best suited for beginners where the flat grounds and closed, smooth roads of the F1 Village is great for both running and cycling. But if you’re up for a challenge, its triathlon at East Coast Park involved the whole shebang: swimming, cycling and running individually or as a team.

Terry Fox Run 2018
11 March
The inspiring legend of Terry Fox paved the way for charity runs against cancer. Deeply moved by the plight of young cancer patients, the cancer hero decided to run across Canada to raise funds for research despite losing his right leg due to bone cancer at an early age. The Singapore edition of the run will have you surrounded with feel-good company as you take part in the non-competitive 5km or 10km races. All funds from the run will be awarded to local cancer research.

ILLUMI FEST RUN
31 March
Being desperate for a wash after a marathon is only natural, but trust us when we say that one shower won’t be enough once you’re done with this rowdy run! In collaboration with i Light Marina Bay, prepare to rave and run at this paint-splattering pandemonium along the Marina Bay waterfront, where you’ll be doused with ILLUMI Glow Water as you dash across five music zones like a whizzing, glow-in-the-dark human kaleidoscope.

Highly recommended for serious runners, it’s all about testing your endurance and pitting yourself against hardcore fitness fanatics. The best bit?
