My Private Chef x Honeycombers
Treat your friends to dinner for ten at Singapore’s revolutionary new dining experience by My Private Chef. STORIES, a concept fusing Singapore’s fine dining and rich cultural heritage with theatrical story-telling, will pop up in the iconic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station later this month.
A collaboration with Singapore Tourism Board, STORIES will harness the history of this well-loved national monument to take diners on a unique journey. Train Station Master John Smith will fill the atrium with music and lead his team of storytellers in regaling guests with tales of Singapore, in between courses of food prepared by leading Singapore-based chefs.
My Private Chef has unveiled the menu for this first-of-its-kind occasion, created by The Fat Duck-trained Chef Stephan Zoisl. Not only has the thematic dining specialist and Chef Stephan demonstrated an expert understanding of traditional Singaporean flavours, but every dish in Chef Stephan’s five-course wine-paired menu strikes a chord with a milestone in the story of our nation.
Expect snow cod wrapped in squid on a bed of black truffle infused risotto paired with Lapostolle Casa Chardonnay 2012 to emulate coal, a nod to our colonial days of entrepot trade. For the East-meets-West main course, Chef Stephan is presenting a French duck confit in Peranakan curry jus with Fregola Sarda pasta.
